Francyn Brown started as a full-time associate at Irwin IP in Fall 2018. Francyn previously worked as a law clerk and summer associate for Irwin IP, assisting with legal research for trademark litigation matters and drafting documents for copyright matters.

Before joining Irwin IP, Francyn worked as a law clerk at an intellectual property law firm in Chicago, performing legal research and drafting successful responses for trademark matters in the USPTO.
As a student at the Chicago-Kent College of Law, Francyn competed and placed first at the 2016 Saul Lefkowitz Trademarks Moot Court Competition (Midwest Regional) with the third-ranked brief nationally. She was a member of the intellectual property law society and served as an executive board member of the Decalogue society. She also served as a student editor on the ABA’s Landslide Magazine Board where she attended ABA intellectual property events and edited articles to be in included in the monthly magazine. Francyn received the CALI excellence for the future award in Copyright Law in her 1L year and the CALI excellence for the future award in Law of Social Networks. She also continued to make Dean's List each semester.
